This Privacy Policy outlines the principles that Holoz (the "Developer") follows when handling personal information or related data collected through the use of the Google Chrome extension(s) developed by the Developer (each, an "Extension").
The Developer recognizes the importance of personal information and is committed to protecting it. The Developer will comply with applicable laws and regulations to properly collect, use, and manage personal information.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Extensions published by the Developer (including, for example, Japanese Era to Gregorian (Auto) and other Extensions in the same product family).
Depending on the Extension, the following Chrome permissions may be used as defined in each Extension’s manifest.json:
chrome.storage.sync): To save user preferences (such as on/off toggles, display options, and optional exclusion lists). Synced data is processed by Google according to your Chrome / Google account settings. The Developer does not operate a server that receives copies of this data from the Extension. Some Extensions inject content scripts on web pages so features can run in the page (for example, transforming visible text). That processing runs locally in your browser. The Developer does not receive the text of pages you visit, your browsing history, or the output of such conversions.
The Developer does not transmit personally identifiable information from the Extension to the Developer’s own external servers. User preferences are stored using Chrome’s extension storage APIs (for example chrome.storage.sync), not by the Developer’s proprietary backend.
Settings are entered through each Extension’s user interface (for example, a popup or options page) and saved via Chrome’s storage APIs.
Saved settings restore preferences on later use and improve convenience. They are not sold to third parties or used for advertising profiles by the Developer.
Data retained by Chrome’s storage APIs remains until you remove the Extension or clear extension data in Chrome, subject to Google’s policies for synced data.
By installing an Extension, you are deemed to have agreed to this Privacy Policy.
The Extensions do not read website cookies for tracking purposes, nor do they set or use proprietary cookies for cross-site tracking.
The Developer implements the following principles:
The Developer strives to describe data practices accurately in this policy and in each Extension’s store listing.
Because preferences are not sent to the Developer’s servers, the Developer does not centrally store that configuration data.
The Developer will not sell or disclose personal information obtained through the Extensions to third parties. If practices change materially, this policy will be updated.
The Extensions do not embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs for the purpose of tracking users across sites.
